With 22 entries received and several more to be confirmed this weeks Sprintcar Summer slam is a must see for sprintcar fans, most competitors will using the two day meeting at Ruapuna as a gauge to there chances in the upcoming NZ title at Cromwell next month.
1NZ Dean Brindle, 27a Allan Wakeling and 10p Ricky Logan are just a handful of North Islanders travelling down to take on the Sth Islands best including War of the Wings champion Danny Mayson, "Excitement Machine" Jamie Duff and the hard charging Ray Baughan.
