Ray Baughan and long time sponsor Allan Daly (Avon Insurance Brokers) have made a serious commitment to the NZ Sprintcar title being held in Christchurch in 2012. They have recently purchased the NZ1 winning sprintcar engine from Rodney Wood in a effort to have a realistic chance of winning the elusive title. The Engine has more Horse Power than anyone will admit to and Baughan says "this is whats required to have a realstic chance of taking out title" The 2011 season will be used to test and setup their Sprintcar package and fans can expect the hard charging Baughan to light up the track in preparation for the title the following year.
