Its been a devestating year for Ruapuna Speedway with the recent passing of club members and officials and its with much sadness that lifetime supporter of Ruapuna Speedway Tania Wooten lost her battle with illness on Saturday morning.Tania never missed a meeting at Ruapuna and could always been found just in front of the video tower on turn one sitiing with her family and friends. A recent trip to Cromwell to watch the Sprintcar Nationals was a highlight and even through illness she stiill managed to attend almost all meetings this year.
