After a pre season crash causing significant damgae to the Xpress Printing House Sprintcar Danny Mayson is hoping to track test his rebuilt Sprintcar on Sunday (1st Nov) at Ruapuna Speedway.

Major Damaged occured when Mayson looking to pass Grant Lightfoot on Dress Rehearsal night rode a wheel and ended up in the turn three wall,  Plenty of man hours have gone into rebuilding the car with a number of competitors and crew donating there time to have the car ready for opening night.

Mayson also sent the 800hp Gearte V8 engine North to Les Nixon who checked it out for any damage - with no know issues Mayson is hoping to get through the track test on Sunday and then look forward to opening night on the 7th November.
