New recruit to the Modified Sprints NZ Black Cap Nathan Astle made his debut at the Ellersmere Speedway today, after a couple of quiet runs to familarise himself with his new car Astle showed that he has what it takes to compete in the open wheel class, driving the black No#9 Henchcraft, Astle started from grid six in the feature and made his way to 3rd almost snatching 2nd with a last gasp manouvere in the final straight.
